Hey Lovelies!
I want to take a few minutes to talk about setting boundaries; personal boundaries for you and for others. And the phrase that kept coming in mind when I was thinking about boundaries was "respect my no" and "respect my know".
There are 2 types of boundaries.: there is a respect my NO. So when I say NO! respect it don't try to persuade me to change my mind so that you can get what you want. Then respect my KNOW, the things I know, my expertise, my skills, my experience. Requests for my support and opinions should not be challenged. Just respect my KNOW.
As a business owner that provides services, respect my NO. Don't try to bargain with what I am offering. There was a cost to gaining that knowledge, skills and that experience enabling me to offer those services.
Let's start respecting the boundaries of NO and KNOW. We need to respect and preserve our energy for the things that we are called to do for our purpose in order to live intentionally. If we keep saying yes on things we don't want to do or over extend ourselves, then we deny our health and peace. Saying NO makes us available for more opportunities. It is your responsibility to set boundaries and help people respect your "NO" and "KNOW."
